Cold Pressed Oil.

Definition.

Cold pressed oils refers to oils obtained by pressing non preheated oil seeds with a modern wooden press, which is made up of Bhabhul/Vagai or Mango. These oils are of best quality because temperature in the processing does not rise to a level that could be detrimental to the ingredients. While heat s necessarily released during pressing process but temperature doesn’t exceed 49 °C (120 °F) & oil extraction in this way retain their genuine flavour, aroma & Nutrients.

If the seeds are only pressed once, it is also called as “First Cold Pressed Oil”.

The term “Virgin” is used for first pressed oil & can be used for all varieties of oil.

The cold pressed oil produces Fizz (Foam). Fizz & Thickness of the oil are proofs of its purity, stating no chemicals used in their making. Specially no machine filtration is done because filtration requires heat above boiling point so, we perform manual filtration process by the use of gravity i.e. by letting the oil settle naturally.

Why Cold Press Oil

Cold Pressed Oils are extracted naturally from oil seeds & are healthy for consumption as are 100% Chemical free.

Cold Pressed Oils are of higher quality because temperature during the processing does not rise to a level that could be detrimental to the ingredients & cause loss of nutrients in seeds & nuts.
