Revisiting the Ancestral Wooden Press Oil Extraction old pressed oil is obtained by pressing oil seeds with a modern wooden press which is similar to traditional method our ancestors used. Of course we replaced bulls with Motor.

  • Cleaning – This removes any form of dust from the oil seeds entering the ‘ghana’ (wooden press)
  • Oil Extraction – This is the wooden pestle Nuts .This the stone mortar . Oilseeds are squished by the friction between the wooden pestle and stone mortar.
  • Sedimentation – The extracted oil is kept overnight in tank so that the strains and micro particles remain in oil get settled through gravity.
  • Straining – The extracted oil is strained through sieves to remove residues
  • Packing – The strained product is packed in food grade bottles! We are not just investing in our process we have invested in the reusable, high quality bottle in which our oils stay in your kitchen.
  • Quality Control and Assurance – The quality analysis is done as per FSSAI norms at the store under the supervision of a food technologist. Periodic third party analysis is conducted by NABL accredited laboratories.
